Effective Date: January 31, 2026
Version: 1.0.0 (Semantic versioning, because we're civilized)
IMPORTANT: By using SideTrack, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. There is no "I have read and agree to the terms" checkbox because we both know nobody reads those anyway. But you should read this one. We put jokes in it.
By accessing or using SideTrack (the "Service"), you ("User," "you," or "brave adventurer") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms," "Agreement," or "The Sacred Covenant"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and SideTrack ("we," "us," "our," or "the Fellowship").
If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind such organization to these Terms. In which case, "you" refers to both you individually and the organization. Choose wisely.
"I solemnly swear that I am up to no good." — You, probably (but please be good)
SideTrack is a music library management platform designed to help you organize, browse, and manage your Suno AI music collection. Features include but are not limited to:
Side effects may include: excessive music listening, spontaneous dance breaks, and an uncontrollable urge to share your playlists.
To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate,
current, and complete information during registration. Using a fake email like
[email protected] is discouraged but frankly impressive.
You are responsible for:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or attempt to hack us (please don't — our developers have enough bugs to fix already).
You agree NOT to use the Service to:
Violators will be sent to the Shadow Realm. Or just banned. Probably just banned.
The Service, including its original content, features, functionality, design, and code, is owned by SideTrack and protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. Our code is sacred. Treat it with respect.
You retain ownership of any content you upload to the Service ("Your Content"). By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.
We will never claim ownership of your music, playlists, or that embarrassingly named playlist you created at 3 AM.
Music and content from Suno or other third-party services are subject to their respective terms of service. We're not responsible for third-party content, but we'll try to display it nicely.
The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services, including but not limited to:
Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these third parties, though we try to choose partners who aren't evil.
"I find your lack of API documentation disturbing." — Us, to various third parties
Currently, SideTrack is offered as a free beta service. If we introduce paid tiers in the future, we will:
Free tier users are not the product. We're not selling your data. We're just nice like that.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
Translation: We try really hard, but sometimes stuff breaks. It's software. It happens.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL SIDETRACK, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AGENTS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you. In such cases, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
We're a small team doing our best. If something goes wrong, we'll try to fix it. But we can't be held responsible if your library doesn't sync during a solar flare, if aliens invade, or if your cat walks across your keyboard and deletes everything.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SideTrack and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, suppliers, successors, and assigns from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:
Basically: If you mess up, you fix it. Fair's fair.
Before filing any formal legal action, you agree to contact us and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We're reasonable people. Let's talk it out over virtual coffee.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal proceedings shall be conducted in the courts of England and Wales.
Any cause of action or claim you may have arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service must be commenced within one (1) year after the cause of action accrues. Otherwise, such cause of action or claim is permanently barred. Like that quest you never finished in Skyrim.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the Service or via email. Your continued use of the Service after such notice constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
We will not make changes retroactively, and we'll always try to give you reasonable notice. We're not trying to pull a fast one on you.
Patch notes for Terms of Service updates will be less exciting than video game patch notes, but potentially more important.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
That said, we have no plans to disappear. We're in this for the long haul.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and SideTrack regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. Any waiver must be in writing and signed by us.
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights hereunder without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, accidents, pandemic, strikes, shortages of transportation, facilities, fuel, energy, labor, materials, or zombie apocalypse.
In case of zombie apocalypse, all Terms are suspended until humanity prevails. Good luck out there.
If you have any questions about these Terms, please contact us:
"Help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi. You're my only hope." — Also acceptable as a support ticket opener
BY USING THE SERVICE, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ THESE TERMS OF SERVICE, UNDERSTOOD THEM, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THEM. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS, YOU ARE NOT AUTHORIZED TO USE THE SERVICE.
Congratulations on reading this far! You're one of the few. May your music library be organized and your playlists be fire. 🔥
